Math Cram+Leonardo DiCaprio=Distraction

Hey, Guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a few days >.< I just got kinda busy with life lol :P So the last couple of days have been sort of weird. I am super stressed about my math. Last year I failed Math 20-1 (Math 11, the more difficult stream) So, this year I am taking credit class which allows me to pass the course without re-taking the whole thing. All I have to do is two units. The problem is the term ends in 2 weeks and I have a unit and a half yet (10 sections) x( I am so dumb for not trying hard. Anyways, so now I am having a math cram for the next two weeks!

In Film Studies, we watched the movie called "The Aviator". It is the story of Howard Hughes, a movie director and aviator from the late 1920's. It outlines how he became famous and the risks he took as well as his downfalls and a how determined he was to do everything he said he ever would. Howard Hughes is played by Leonardo DiCaprio. At the moment I really love this movie, I love that it is a real story. There is a disorder that Howard Hughes had and I find every scene in this movie that shows it is somewhat fascinating. I love watching people and seeing how they react when we watch something. Especially if I know what is happening next. If my family watches a movie that I have seen I find that I am more focused on their facial expressions than I am on the movie. :P It must be awkward for them!

Cattle Processing

So yesterday was a busy day. My family and I went to our neighbours to process calves. This involves sorting, giving vaccines, castrating if necessary, tagging and dehorning. We were also picking out cattle for ourselves to buy from our neighbour. We are finally starting our own herd! While we were sorting out our cattle from our neighbours some of the cattle got past the guys. I started pushing them back and all was going well until this heifer decided that she didn't want to go that way. She turned around and tried to jump over me. She half landed on my arm knocking me over. Now I have this killer bruise! After we were done sorting we had to run them into the chute, one-by-one. When we got to the bull calves we had to castrate them. The first one went fine except he rolled onto m step-dad's boot and pulled it off his foot lol. The next two bulls, not so easy. The second one was going fine until he suddenly tensed up and kicked! My neighbour got it right into the jaw and it clipped his glasses, breaking the frame.  We figured the other one was smaller so we ran it into the chute too. This one was crazy! When we got him onto the ground it was a mad rush to castrate him! Every 5 seconds or so he would tense up and try to roll over. When we finally let him up, he went to run off and was accidentally redirected right at my step-dad! He ran right into my step-dads gut and knocked him over! My step-dad is 6ft and strong! (and remember, these are calves, not full grown). We decided that the last bull wasn't worth it lol It was quite a day!
